Professional known as Brie Larson, she is an American actor, composer, and singer. Larson was born in Sacramento, California before she studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre.
She started her television acting career and debuted as a character on the Raising Dad sitcom in 2001, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award.
Larson had brief roles as a teenager in the 2004 movies 13 Going on 30 and Sleepover. Her work in the comedy film Hoot (2006) was lauded, and later she played supporting roles in the movies Greenberg (2010), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), 21 Jump Street (2012), and Don Jon (2013).
From 2009 to 2011, Larson appeared in the television series United States of Tara as a rebellious teenager.
