Kamaljit Singh Jhooti Bio
Jay revealed his signature with Cash Money Records in the United States in October 2008. He was the first British Asian artist to sign an agreement with an American label.
An original deluxe My Own Way edition was scheduled for the USA. These plans, however, were scrapped for All or Nothing, the world debut album by Jay with Cash Money. “Down” featuring rapper Lil Wayne was the first single on the album.
In the US pop and R&B markets, it was an almost instant success and was eventually at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
