Marjuk Rasel (born August 15, 1973) is a Bangladeshi Poet, Lyricist, Model, and Actor. He wrote poetry in eight-class and worked in drama and movies.
Marjuk Rasel Biography
Born in Gopalganj, Marjuk’s childhood was spent in Daulatpur. Dad’s jute business used to be in quarters assigned to third-class employees. My life of education started at Government Krishna Mohan Primary School.
Later, at the will of his father, Marjuk was admitted to the madrasah in the sixth grade. While in elementary school, the picture of Hashem Khan painted in the textbook would have taken him into the world. The dream of the artist who was hidden in the corner of his mind was dragged. Looking at the pictures, Marzuk’s childhood was astonishing, how to draw such a picture? At that time Nazrul Islam, Rabindranath Tagore, and Jasim Uddin’s writings shook him.
The writings of poets Shamsur Rahman, Al Mahmud, Farrukh Ahmed, Narayan Gangopadhyay, and Manik Bandyopadhyay attracted him intensely.
Marzuk felt a great stir among the writers, acquainted with their authors, and read their stories, poems and prose.
