Pooja Hegde (born 13 October 1990) is an Actress and Model from India. She is 2nd runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 and works on Telugu and Hindi Movies.

She competed in the 2009 competition for Miss India but was eliminated in an early round despite having won the 2009 Miss India Talented Title.
She reapplied the following year, becoming the second runner-up at the 2010 Miss Universe India competition. She was also crowned in the regional competition for Miss India South Glamorous Hair 2010. She made her acting debut with “Mugamoodi,” the 2012 Tamil film.
In 2014 she appeared with Naga Chaitanya in a Telugu film, Oka Laila Kosam. She crowned enormous popularity from this film through her brilliant performance and was also nominated for Best Actress at the 62nd South Filmfare Awards.
Her mother tongue is Tulu, but she can speak fluently in Hindi, English, Kannada, and Tamil, too.

In July 2014, Pooja decided on the terms for her first appearance in Bollywood opposite Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming period movie Mohenjo Daro by Ashutosh Gowariker, set within the context of the Indus Valley civilization.
She was chosen after she was speckled in a commercial ad by Gowariker’s wife and called her for the audition, which she successfully completed.
Through her devotion to film, she advertised that she would take a break from acting in regional Indian films before or before the release of her Hindi film and declined an opportunity to work in a Mani Ratnam-directed film. Pooja was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and raised there. His parents, Manjunath Hegde and Latha Hegde originate from Karnataka, Mangalore.
Her mother tongue is Tulu, and fluent in English, Marathi, and Hindi. She was going to M.M.K College and she revealed. She frequently tried competitions, dance, and fashion shows from intercollegiate.
Her new film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” is going through a super-duper hit in Telugu cinema. People liked her role as Amulya in this film. She has done superb acting in the movie.
