Sarah Gadon (born April 4, 1987) is a Canadian Actress. She is famous for her roles in David Cronenberg’s films such as A Dangerous Method and Belle.

At age 10 Sarah landed her first acting role in La Femme Nikita, a Toronto-shot film. Her parents demanded that she remain at school and only take up positions during holidays.
Gadon ‘s childhood credits include the Twice in a Lifetime series, Redwall, Mutant X, and Are You Fearing the Dark? (Which also helped Ryan Gosling and Scott Speedman launch their careers).
Gadon briefly attended Queen’s University in Kingston after graduating from high school, before returning to Toronto.
Although studying acting, she took part-time film studies at the University of Toronto. Being based in Toronto gave Gadon the opportunity to work in Canadian movies and Canadian TV shows and shot American productions locally.

In 2011, when Gadon appeared in several high-profile productions, she became aware. She played a small part in the Toronto-shot horror movie Dream House, featuring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Naomi Watts, and played a notable role in the Moth Diaries horror drama of Mary Harron’s boarding school.
The third film of Sarah in 2011 marked her first collaboration with the director David Cronenberg. Gadon plays Emma Jung, wife of Psychologist Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) in A Risky Form.
On his part, Gadon perfected an English accent and drew on her continuing research in film theory. She participated in the Rising Stars program of the Toronto International Film Festival the same year and was named a star to watch by Playback Magazine.
In 2013 Gadon appeared in the psychological mind-bender, Enemy, by Denis Villeneuve. Cast in front of Jake Gyllenhaal, Gadon gave a dark and complex performance as a woman seduced by the doppelgänger of her husband and the promise of a new life.
Gadon suggested wearing a weighted belly in order to slow her moves and add realism to the pregnancy of her character. Her performance has received a Canadian Screen Award and the Los Angeles Times has highlighted her role as the film’s highlight.
