Elizabeth Olsen is an American  Actress, Singer (born February 16, 1989). She is notable for Martha Marcy May Marlene, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Endgame, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wind River, Sorry for Your Loss, and Ingrid Goes West.

Olsen was born and reared in Sherman Oaks, California, and made her acting debut at an early age by making roles in the films Silent House and Martha Marcy May Marlene with her sisters.


Her big break came in the independent thriller drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, for which she received nominations for various accolades, including the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actress and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Leading Woman.

She came from a stable Christian family in Sherman Oaks, California, and was raised there. At Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California, she finished her elementary education.

She then starred in Silent House (2011), Liberal Arts (2012), Oldboy (2013), Godzilla (2014), I Saw the Light (2015), Ingrid Goes West (2017), and Wind River (2018). (2017). Olsen also featured in and executive produced the web drama series Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019).

Olsen has appeared on television in addition to her work in movies. She was praised by critics for her performance in the series lead role in the first two seasons of the FX horror film Martha Marcy May Marlene. Additionally, she has made appearances in the TV shows WandaVision and Sorry for Your Loss.
